Antique Rogers Bros Victorian-era serving spoon in the Navarre pattern ~ introduced in 1890. What what we see online, the Navarre pattern may be somewhat rare. The spoon is marked on the back of the handle with an *ROGERS&BRO.A1
This large serving spoon features a wide and deep bowl, and was probably used for serving soup or a casserole, and wold make a beautiful & elegant addition to your table.
The Navarre pattern features swirling flourishes on the handle, all around the edge of the bowl of the spoon and a flourish repoussé design in the heel of the spoon bowl.
The fork is shiny and free of bends, dents, though there is some tiny flecks of pitting in the bowl - see pics. This does not in any way affect the performance of the spoon, and most people would not notice unless looking quite closely at the bowl.
